I love it, that sounds just like me! And I have a real soft spot for the things my grandparents and great-grandparents loved and wore 
I have a black vintage purse that was my nana’s! Carey Mulligan’s character in “An Education” carries a similar looking one in a scene or two.
I love your style. Target and H&M are definitely two of my favorite stores. As far a vintage stuff I have my grandmother’s pearls and some of her other necklaces. The pearls aren’t real and I have to rig the clasp because its a little broken, but I love wearing them. They make me feel old school glamorous, and its cool to think about all the different times she wore them.
